What Are Clean Air Organizations?
Clean Air Organizations, led by dedicated community volunteers, strive to make community gatherings safer for artists, performers, musicians, hosts, and their audiences. Through community donations, Clean Air Organizations build libraries of air purifiers that can be loaned to residents for events to protect from COVID-19 and other airborne pollutants. Smarter HEPA supports Clean Air Organizations by providing discounts and affiliate programs.
Founded in 2023, Chicago's Clean Air Club was the first of its kind to help make events safer for artists, concertgoers, and organizers amid concerns surrounding COVID-19 and other airborne pollutants. Since then, more than 30 organizations have been founded to provide free air purification for arts and organizing spaces.
“Clean Air Club connects artists and touring musicians with the air purification and the science that makes their shows safer.”

How Does a Clean Air Organization Help My Community?
Safe Air Project explains, "People who are immunocompromised or chronically ill do not feel safe socializing indoors, consequently being excluded from our community gatherings. If we do more to ensure indoor air is filtered and ventilated, we make our events more accessible for everyone.”
Performers have been particularly vulnerable to airborne diseases like COVID, by doing our part with air purification, masks, etc. we make community gatherings safer and more available to all.
If your community already has a Clean Air Organization, please donate or participate.
