The Blast Mini comes with a medical grade H13 HEPA filter (99.97%) and a washable pre-filter. Also available is an optional activated carbon filter that can be purchased installed or separately. Please be sure to remove the plastic from the filters before use. For optimal results, vacuum, wipe down or wash, dry and replace the permanent pre-filter periodically.
The Blast Mini needs 6 inches of clearance behind the unit to draw the air in. It is recommended to locate an air purifier in the most used rooms. Position the air purifier in a central location for the best performance.
Filter changes depend on the amount of air pollution in your area, but typically in the U.S., the Blast Mini filters should be changed every two years.
Occasionally, the cord will become loose where it plugs into the purifier. Unplug the cord from the unit and the outlet. Plug the cord back in until it clicks, making sure it is flush, then plug back into the wall and turn on. If it still does not work, contact us.

Have owned this for 4 months. I love this filter. It's sturdy and well-balanced and elegant and beautiful and perfect. Powerful enough to act as a fan on a hot summer day. The medium setting is a calm background hum. No assembly required, wheels come attached. Easy to clean.
Downsides: take some strength to get this up a staircase. maximum setting is a little loud.

i purchased this purifier to lend it out for events in my city and it’s awesome! incredibly powerful & quiet, very sturdy. i love that it has wheels, i only wish it had some handles for easier lifting into my car (it’s heavy and awkward to hold for a weakling with short arms lol). i’m very excited to pass this thing around town and make events in olympia a lil safer!

I don't know if I missed it in the product description, but this thing packaged is over 75 lbs?? There was some difficulty getting it up the stairs into the house because of the weight. It was packaged well, there were metal corner inserts in the box to protect the outside of the unit. Corner inserts were dented pretty good but they did their job as the actual unit was perfectly undamaged.
Unit itself is exceptionally well built. Nothing "cheap" about it. No plastic, wheels attached, nothing to set up, just plug it in and turn it on. Relatively quiet, I keep it on the medium setting and it's a light white noise. The highest setting is a bit louder but just like any other stand-alone fan on the max speed. I can't tell yet how well it cleans/circulates the air as it's only been a few days, but the house seems to recover from cooking smells etc faster than before.
Overall very happy with the purchase.

I got this one for my house, which is small, about 900 square feet. I got the one with the VOC (carbon) filter. SARS-CoV-2 numbers almost at their peak for any time during the entire pandemic now, and many people have the misguided belief that covid is gone or that the danger has passed. It has become more important than ever and more challenging than ever to protect oneself from this airborne virus and others.
This Smart Air Blast Mini - MKII can play a role in your home in keeping viral load lower than it would be without an air filter, should anyone who lives in your home contract any viruses. In addition to that, pollution is becoming an even greater problem and the wildfires in the summer have reached an unprecedented level, I see this as a wonderful investment in maintaining my health.
While it represents an investment for sure, the filters only need replacing every 2 years! That is very convenient for me.
It is also very quiet, except on the highest setting, but even then, it is still quiet enough for me to be on zoom meetings about 6 feet away.
