Q: The change filter light is on and it has only been a few months. Do they need to be changed?
A: The change filter indicator is calibrated for Chinese air quality, which is much worse than air quality in the U.S. and Canada. Typically, filters for the SA600 model last 18-24 months in these regions. However, it's essential to clean the pre-filters regularly. You can use the light as a prompt to inspect your filters and clean the pre-filters accordingly. To reset the filter light, simply press it down for 4 seconds.

Q: What order do I put the filters and which way do the arrows go?
A: The arrows go in the direction of the airflow. The airflow comes in from the sides and goes out the top, so the arrows point towards the center of the unit. The filters should be placed in the following order from the inside of the unit out: HEPA filter, carbon filter, pre-filter, then outside case panel.

Q: Can the SA600 be put against the wall?
A: Yes, on the narrow side. As long as there is at least 6 inches of space surrounding the intake sides and space above the purifier for the clean air to disperse, you can place the air purifier on the floor, or on a table, or a shelf. It can even be hung on a wall from the handle on the narrow side.

Better health with clean air-

I’ve been using the SA600 for about 2 months now and my breathing has improved greatly! I had experienced frequent coughing, watery eyes, and sneezing, which have disappeared since using it. I was also waking up with headaches, but I’m sleeping way better now since using the purifier in the bedroom. I was recently diagnosed with allergies to Down feathers, dust mites, mold, certain grasses and trees. And the allergies were affecting my throat and quality of my voice. I had to see an ENT specialist and a voice therapist. My throat and voice have improved greatly since using the SA600. With the addition of the SA600 I feel so much better! It’s light weight enough to move around for use in another room and the design is clean, beautiful and simple. Thank you for the gift of cleaner air and better health!

Love it!

I have had this air purifier for about a month and love it! The highest speed is a little loud but super effective so I turn it down to medium after around 25 minutes or so when I get home. If I get cigarette smoke inside from a neighbor lighting up outside I notice that no smoke is detectable after just 5-10 minutes on the highest speed. It works very quickly in my small apartment. Purchased for fire season in the PNW and for daily use because I'm near a highway and feel really good about the airflow of this model. It also has a beautiful, clean, functional design. I like that I could reorganize the filters so that the pellet carbon filter sits between the pre-filter and the HEPA filter because that order makes more sense to me. Choosing a purifier was stressful because I'm tight on funds and the air quality during fire season is a major concern where I live but after getting a few questions answered kindly and responsively over email I was confident with this purchase and feel really great about my choice. So happy to support a B Corp and have clean air at home!

Still Hopeful

I'm somewhat disappointed in the charcoal filters, which are not really all that effective against the various noxious gases that are emitted from a new laminate floor. I still have to open windows and use fans, otherwise they build up and make the room difficult to occupy. I worry about the weather becoming much warmer in the summer, as it loses even more effectiveness unless I keep the room as cold as possible with AC. I will admit it does do some good, but not nearly as much as I had hoped.
